    Meet at Kumamoto Airport in the afternoon  (PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE AIRPORT BY 13:00 IF POSSIBLE)

  LOC strongly recommends that you stay at one of the following three hotels on the night of the 24th.

    • One night with breakfast: August 23rd (Sun) 8,900 yen, August 24th (Mon) approximately 10,100 yen.
    • All guests can book through the official website, etc.

Toyoko Inn Kumamoto Airport Hotel

    • This hotel has specially reserved about 30 rooms for EMSEV. However, to prevent general public reservations, they are not listed on the official website.
    • All guests should make a reservation by emailing 367_kumamoto@wm.toyoko-inn.com directly to indicate their intention to attend EMSEV2026. Please also email Ms Yuko Takai at the same time.

The LOC will provide a bus to Tokai University Rinku Campus on the morning of the 25th. If you are staying elsewhere, you will have to arrange your own transportation to the venue by taxi.

 August 25 (Tue)

    Morning: Opening ceremony, keynote speech
    Afternoon:  Excursion to Aso Volcano by hired bus
                          Aso Volcanological Laboratory, Kyoto University
                          Kumamoto Earthquake Disaster Museum
                        (move to Kumamoto City center)

## remarks##
   To the city center, LOC will be responsible for transporting you after the excursion to the Aso Volcano in the afternoon of the 25th. 
   We will also provide a bus large enough to accommodate your luggage.
